Location Scouting
We scouted our location for filming by using aerial pictures from google earth, we selected this area because of its ease of access and also the area surrounding the clearing that was the quarry. this clearing offered a good open area to put the large tent and also have enough space to film the scenes we needed. The next step for location scouting was we physically went to the spot and made sure the ground and lighting was good and also checked if there was phone reception in the area as part of our risk assessment (see below). we came to the conclusion that this area would be perfect for the filming of pinelones.
